Our client has an immediate requirement for a
Plant Fitter to join their existing team in Plymouth, Devon.

The successful
Plant Fitter will be responsible for working as part of a team to carry out the service and repair of a wide variety of plant machinery on site.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company who are a family run business and value their employees, they have a friendly atmosphere and are looking for someone to join their existing team.

Plant Fitter Responsibilities:

Service, repair and maintenance of construction plant machinery and associated equipment.
Fault find and diagnose hydraulic and basic electrical problems.
Keep accurate service / repair records.
Respond and attend to site breakdowns.
Carry out cleaning and overhaul of plant and replacing worn parts, engines, crankshafts, tracks when necessary.

Plant Fitter Requirements:

Hold a minimum of NVQ Level
Proven experience working on plant equipment.
Mechanical and Hydraulics experience.
Welding, cutting and fabrication is advantageous.
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Basic electrical understanding.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
Forklift licence desirable.

Plant Fitter Benefits:

- £35,000 to £40,000 basic salary.

Monday to Friday 8.00am 4.00pm.
Overtime available.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays (1 extra day's holiday following every years' service to a maximum of 25 days).
Company pension scheme.
