JOB DESCRIPTION

We use over 20 years of experience to provide specialist products to assist those conducting the decontamination of medical devices and infection control management within a hospital environment.

We ensure that the decontamination processes within Endoscopy and Sterile Service, and Engineering departments are carried out smoothly and effectively.


Job purpose:


  • Working with and supporting the Stores Manager and other team members so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, throughout the day.

You will be responsible for:


  • The labelling of sample bottles, contact and settle plates
  • Printing of DPD labels
  • Printing and checking of manifests (before dispatch)
  • Unpack orange boxes and receive samples onto AIS LIMS
  • Ensuring ice packs are readily available for Orange Box's
  • Mixing, packing and dispatch of test soils
  • Printing of test soil paperwork
  • Ensure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to date
  • Tracking of Orange Boxes in and out of Stores
  • Packing Orange Box's (after initial check against manifest)
  • The maintenance of a clean and tidy workplace
oTest Soil Room

  • Packing/ Dispatch Benches
  • Removal of cardboard/ rubbish from stores area
  • Sweeping & Mopping
  • Booking in received stock items
  • Stock Takes/ Rotation of stock
  • Making up of PPE Kits
  • Orange Box suitability checks
  • Cleaning/ wiping down of Orange Boxes

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within a stores/ dispatch related role
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Confident working with a variety IT Systems for example Microsoft Office

Additional Information
This is a full-time role based Sheffield

Job type:
Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours), some out of hour's work may be required from time to time.


Salary:
£19,000 per annum and generous benefits
