Company Overview:

DAMSS is proud to partner with Swindon Borough Council to provide stock condition surveying services for their social housing projects.

Our role involves conducting thorough assessments of the council's housing stock to identify any maintenance or repair needs, ensuring that properties are safe, functional, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed stock condition surveys of social housing properties in Swindon, assessing the overall condition and identifying any repair or maintenance needs.
• Record accurate data and observations using designated surveying software.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry best practices, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor or similar role, preferably within the social housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using surveying software and tools for data collection and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in surveying and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation for travel to various survey locations.
