Description

GI Group are proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail Parcelforce who provide a service nationwide in the delivery of parcels.

They are currently looking of a number of multi drop drivers to work out of their depots in Poppleton (york).

ONLY CATEGORY B (Car) LICENCE NEEDED

Pay and Hours:

Pay rate starts at - £11.64 an hour
Day shifts only and various start finish times available.

Predicted length of term:
temporary

The role involves:

Loading parcels onto vehicle in order of deliveries. This is prepared by the warehouse sorters
Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner to complete workload for the day
Complete all relevant paperwork and calling cards
Always maintain a professional clean appearance and stay respectful when interacting with customers
Local deliveries, we are even able to place drivers in areas that are known to them.
Using a handheld PDA device is required
