Position:
Full-Time Housekeeper


Location:
Central London


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with one weekend per month)


Salary:
£40,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

As a Housekeeper, you will be an integral part of our team of three housekeepers. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of our five guest rooms and public areas.

Your role will encompass the following tasks:

  • Housekeeping and room turndown service:
  • Perform thorough and efficient cleaning of guest rooms, ensuring they meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.
  • Provide a personal touch by customising turndown services to meet guest preferences and needs.
  • Attend to special requests from guests promptly and professionally.
  • Communication and Guest Engagement:
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Engage with guests when required, making them feel comfortable and attended to during their stay.
  • Effectively communicate guest requests to the relevant departments, including the inhouse chef, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Public area set up and cleaning:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of public areas, including the lobby, lounge, dining area, and other common spaces.
  • Set up public areas for guest use, ensuring all amenities are fully stocked and presented immaculately.
  • Teamwork and Professionalism:
  • Collaborate with the other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and conduct while representing Caroline Baker.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience working as a housekeeper in a 5star hotel environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with experience in customerfacing roles.
  • Ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Exemplary attention to detail to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • A team player who can work efficiently and collaboratively with other housekeepers.
  • Impeccable grooming and a polished appearance that reflects the image of a luxury hotel.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, covering one weekend per month.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work independently.
  • Experience with highend clientele and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Salary:
£40,000.00 per year
