Delivery Driver / / Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a full time delivery driver (40 hours) to deliver locally to the Manchester and supporting areas and also to help out in the warehouse when they have time in between deliveries.

Our client is a family business based Manchester.

They are a national vending supply and operation business with all the control and dedication that comes with being family owned and independent.

They are focused on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers get the right products.

The role:
We are looking for a flexible person to deliver to customer sites and cover the warehouse operator responsibilities.

Ensure safe handling, loading & unloading of all products when delivering

Generate dispatch notes where necessary in accordance with company procedures

Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner

Maintain records for all returned goods in accordance with company procedures

Maintain high standards of site house-keeping at all time in the warehouse.

Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Logistics Manager immediately.

Ensure a high level of care and accuracy with all pick operations.

Deal with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.

Assist in the warehouse in between deliveries

The successful applicant must hold a full, clean, driving Licence with no more that 3 points

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and this is a full time position.

2 References will be required
