Puro Accountancy is proud to represent a prominent Exeter-based firm that is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Semi Senior to join their rapidly expanding team.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Semi Senior Accountant, your core responsibilities will encompass:

  • Effectively managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting requisites are satisfied while delivering exceptional service
  • Preparing and meticulously reviewing accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns to uphold precision and adherence to regulations
  • Nurturing and guiding junior staff members, actively contributing to their professional growth
  • Assisting Partners with spontaneous tasks as they arise
  • Dispensing valuable counsel to clients, guiding them towards attaining their business aspirations
  • Holding ACA/ACCA qualification, and being a Chartered Accountant certificate holder
  • Accumulating at least 5 years' experience in a practice environment, preferably in a comparable role
  • Proficiency in accounts and tax matters, showcasing a robust comprehension of pertinent regulations and standards
  • Displaying ambition and dedication, and exhibiting a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Possessing excellent communication skills, both oral and written, essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
