BASED AT BRIGHTER FOODS - TYWYN, WALES

Description of role:
Working 6am-6pm on a 4 on/4 off rota, the role will focus on stock accuracy.

In addition to this, the role will support the Stores and Goods In Controller during busy periods, working tidily and safely and adhering to the adopted food safety standard.


Main Responsibilities

  • Daily booking of materials to Works Orders
  • Spotcheck batch sheets to ensure paper records match ERP
  • Ensuring factory stock levels are correctly represented in ERP
  • Daily cyclecounting of all stock areas, rectifying any stock discrepancies via ERP
  • Alerts supply chain to any sudden stock changes/discrepancies
  • Regular checks of Quarantine areas and managing any stock therein
  • Check and ensure stock rotated and used in order of date expiry
  • Investigate and Clear down residual stock in Factories bin locations following job closure
  • Comply with company 'clean as you go' policy
  • Take care of your own Health & Safety and that of those who may be affected by your actions
  • Provide suggestions on ways of improving efficiency and reducing waste
  • Work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining the capability to function individually
  • Carry out any reasonable request in the most efficient way
  • Respect and value other members of staff to create a positive working environment

Qualifications

  • Counterbalance FLT License is required.
  • High level of computer literacy. Use of Excel and ERP/WMS system
  • High level of numeracy will be required for all aspects of this role.
  • Previous warehouse experience in food sector desirable.

  • In the absence of the Job Holder, the tasks will be allocated to another appropriately trained Operative under direction of the Head of Supply Chain, or Finance Director.
