Media Production Coordinator | Volkswagen Group, Learning Services
Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a
Media Production Coordinator reporting directly to the Learning Innovations Manager.

They will play a key role in coordinating workflow within the team, whilst being able to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines and supporting escalation queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, livestreams and webinars
  • Assess and distribute workload to achieve required KPIs
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to establish realistic timelines and adjust schedules as necessary
  • To act as the first point of contact for all scheduling and studio queries
  • Stay informed around best practises in multimedia scheduling, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Provide guidance and support to the team throughout the production process
  • Manage and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and accessories
  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content
  • Prioritising multiple fastpaced projects at the same time
  • Ensure that all image and video assets created meet editorial standards and branding guidelines
  • Work closely with the Calex Management and Leadership team, and other key personnel, to support the partnership with VWG, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved

About You

  • Experience of coordinating workload for a team
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise conflicting activities
  • Innovative and forward thinking
  • Detailoriented with a skillset for organising multimedia projects to successful completion.
  • Have a understanding of Project Management principals and subsequent scheduling tools
- strong understanding of multimedia production processes, including video production.

  • Must have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the creative process story telling, conceptualising, filming, sound, lighting, etc.
  • Have the ability to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Be selfsufficient, techsavvy with extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud products, e.g. Premiere Pro and After Effects, and an understanding of video formats and codecs
  • Experience working with designers, animators, and motion graphics artists
  • Be a creative and conceptual thinker with creative energy and ideas
  • Ability to travel if required
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Must be able to work both as a lead and as part of a team cross functionally and collaboratively
  • Excellent self and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence corporate clients and help them achieve their creative ideas
  • Have an excellent understanding of language, spelling and grammar

Salary & Benefits
Up to £30,000 dependent on experience.

We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely.
