**The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
**I am actively recruiting for a friendly and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is keen to work with students in Primary who have various Special Educational Needs. The role will require you to work closely with students who have SEN such as Autism,Complex Needs, learning difficulties and SEMH needs. You will need to build a rapport with the students by providing academic and emotional support as well as encouraging them to take an independent approach to their learning. Due to the students' needs, theideal SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have experience working with children or young people who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum, have SEN/SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. Team Teach and manual handling trainingis desirable for this role. This role requires a long-term commitment on a full-time basis.
**SEN School - SEN Teaching Assistant
**This SEMH school is located in Harrow and caters for students aged between 5-16 years who may display challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional, or Mental Health. They currently have 26 students who attend and have an Ofsted rating of 'Good' fromtheir last inspection in July 2018.
