We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join this prestigious, market-leading organisation, based in North Birmingham.


As the Payroll Administrator, you will be working as part of a hardworking and dynamic payroll and finance team, supporting your colleagues across the business with any payroll questions or queries.

You will be responsible for organising high volumes ofprecise payroll information for the organisation's numerous nationwide employees, on both a weekly and monthly basis, and coordinating this information to ensure the smooth approval and processing of the weekly and monthly payroll.

Working with a time recordingsystem, you will be responsible for accurately copying the hours worked for each individual member of the workforce, ensuring that all details of holiday and attendance are accurately noted.


With outstanding attention to detail and a real drive for delivering excellence, you will be responsible for accurately checking and amending hours worked to produce gross pay, then processing through Sage to produce the payroll for employees.

You will submitpayroll reports for approval before arranging and processing final payroll.

Additionally, working as part of a busy finance team, you will support with any other ad hoc financial administration support, as well as maintaining internal guides and documentationin line with latest policies and procedures.


To thrive in this challenging new role, you will need to have similar experience in a fast-paced payroll environment, ideally where you will have processed the payroll for a high-volume of employees on a system such as Sage or similar.

Experience of workingwith time and attendance management systems such as Crown would be a distinct advantage.

With the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload, you will also have fantastic communication skills as you will be a key point of contact for colleagues acrossthe business.
