Permanent Contract | 29.6 hours per week | £24,496 to £26,845 (pro rata for part time) per annum (Grade F) | Multiple Locations


Norfolk Museums Service are seeking a Finance & Administration Assistant to provide administrative and financial support to the Eastern and Western Area Operations Manager ensuring administrative and financial compliance with Norfolk County Council's financial regulations and the requirements of external funders.

Part of the administrative team for the three

Western Area Museums:
Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse in Beetley; Lynn Museum in Kings Lynn and Ancient House Museum in Thetford. These are award winning local museums with important collections of art, social history, photographs, archaeology and natural history.

You will have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and an aptitude for administrative processes. Experience of cash handling, managing budgets, banking processes and procurement are essential.

Based at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, Beetley, Dereham. Some travel between museum sites will be required. The role will also involve some manual handling and entails significant use of a desktop PC.
