The Contact Centre is the central point of contact for visitors wishing to communicate with the V&A, providing first-class service to V&A Members and staff as well as the public.

An established team, we are flexible, proactive and ultimately focused on providing our customers with the best service we can.

We have visibility of everything from tickets to retail, acting as a one-stop shop for information and solutions.


The V&A's Audiences division brings together the V&A's brand, marketing, communications, visitor experience and CRM/ data teams across all of our sites.

Responsible for making our visitors feel part of the V&A's growing family and placing the visitor at the heart of the V&A.

The Audiences division aims to build a global V&A brand, create a seamless V&A experience across all touchpoints, and help the V&A build a lasting relationship with both current and future audiences in the coming years.


Main purpose of job
Over the next year, we're planning an ambitious expansion programme as we add new sites and new services.

We're recruiting an extra Contact Centre Supervisor to provide support to our expanded Advisor team during this period of change.

This role involves working as part of a close-knit team to solve problems, improve our services and helping the advisor team provide amazing customer service to our visitors.

The Contact Centre Supervisor's main responsibilities are to support visitors before and after their visit to the V&A.

You'll spend your time setting up events for the website, processing refunds and exchanges and supporting a busy operational team of customer service advisors.

Working closely with your fellow Supervisors and the Contact Centre Manager, you'll ensure that we fulfil our service level agreements, resolving issues in a timely manner and delivering excellent customer service in every interaction.
