Role Responsibilities

  • Crisis management / Business Continuity response forums: Represent D&A in crisis management planning and response at group level; represent and coordinate communications across D&A Operations for effective crisis response and ensure D&A impacted business leads are connected with central crisis response group, ensure relevant reporting is timely and escalations are managed effectively
  • Business continuity Risk policy: deep understanding of existing Business Continuity Risk policy in each function within D&A Operations and representing it in relevant forums and managing senior management communication
  • Business Continuity: Partner with Group Business Continuity Management (BCM) team to ensure smooth and efficient communication flow with D&A Operations, D&A Technology and Product
  • Business Impact Analysis: Ensure impact of a disruption to Important Business Services based on relevant Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for impacted functions are conducted and kept up to date as the scenario evolves and drive efforts to identify and prioritize their recovery.
  • Business Continuity Plans: very good understanding of BCP, which document procedures for responding to a disruptive incident and how the function will continue or recover its Business Services on an endtoend basis within the preagreed timescales set in the BIA.
  • Scenario testing: support annual BCPs testing to validate that they meet the requirements of the Business Continuity Risk Policy and the Operational Resilience Policy
  • Training and Awareness: Partner with Group BCM to support delivery of BC training to all staff and additional training for Business Continuity Coordinators. Work with BC champions to ensure that all staff in their function are aware of recovery strategies and solutions relevant to them and their responsibilities in the event of an incident
Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Crisis Management, Business Continuity and/or Operational Resilience BCP, Incident Management and Response
  • Strong evidence of consulting, communication and influencing skills to obtain required support and ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • An ability to understand the business as a whole from the top level down and bottom up Structured thinking to see the multidimensional nature of the business e.g. site, function, process
  • A demonstrated focus on continual improvement
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field. A recognized professional certification (BCI, DRI) in business continuity management preferred
