The role:

Provide continual assessment and optimization of the firm's trading controls and risk management framework;
Work closely with trading desk, business management, risk management and technology teams to develop processes and tools;
Conduct reviews of trading systems and associated workflows;
Develop and implement robust reporting metrics;
Spearhead projects in conjunction with Compliance, Risk, Technology and Trading groups to deliver automation and improved efficiencies;
Provide daytoday support for various operational procedures such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, trading, and business continuity;
7+ years' experience in a Trading Product Manager/Owner, Trading Risk & Controls and/or Trading Systems function;
Sound understanding of market structure, electronic trading systems and trading rules and regulations;
Strong background in delivering robust trading controls and optimizing systems and processes;
Experience managing multiple longterm and shortterm projects under very tight project deadlines;
Highly analytical, deliveryfocused and enjoys ownership;
Excellent presentation and communication skills;
Passion for analysis and ability to work with large datasets;
Technical toolkit to include Excel/VBA, Python and SQL;
Strong track record of academic achievement, ideally to Masters degree level in computer science, engineering, math, quantitative, science or statistical field;
