A growing and ambitious business in York is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant, offering a salary of up to £45,000 as well as 33 days annual leave, private healthcare and cycle to work scheme.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and producing full management accounts for multiple group companies
  • Understanding the numbers, providing commentary on variances, offering recommendations to management on improvements
  • Ownership of all month end processes, ensuring all process and completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations for all entities, understanding and explaining the numbers
  • Rolling reforecasts for all GBR companies, P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow
  • KPI reporting
  • Preparing and authorising supplier and staff payments
  • Monthly payroll processing, working with the people team and external payroll providers

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (or finalist)
  • Previous Management Accountant experience in a fastpaced business

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
