Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry who operates on the outskirts of Cambridge, Fulbourn, CB21


The successful CNC Machine Operative will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Loading material onto machines.
  • Machine setting, using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
  • Using hand tools and power tools to remove debris from products.
  • Reading technical drawings and measurements.
  • Unloading finished products from machines.
  • Quality checks of finished goods.

Hours and Pay:


  • Monday to Thursday, Fridays Off
  • 6:45am 5pm, 30 minute break
  • Temporary to Permanent Contract.
  • DOE
  • Onsite parking.

To be considered for this CNC Machinist role, you will have experience in the following:

  • Must have machine setting and operating experience.
  • Experience using Fanuc and/or Heidenahin controls
  • Knowledge of both reading and navigating programs
  • A strong understanding of technical drawings
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • A very strong eye for detail
  • Flexibility for moving around the workshop for cover
  • Experience of working in an engineering environment
