Interim Deputy Monitoring Officer who will provide high level Legal Governance assistance

Job Description:

Provide strategic counsel and guidance to council officers and members on matters of strategic importance, complexity, and public visibility
Undertake thorough analysis and assessment of governance and constitutional issues to ensure adherence to legal requirements and best practices
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop effective strategies and solutions for addressing governance challenges while optimising organisational performance
Offer expert advice and recommendations to senior management and decisionmakers on navigating intricate governance frameworks and processes
Proactively identify areas for improvement in governance practices and propose innovative solutions to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness
