Salary:
Up to £30,000 per year (plus benefits)

**Rota: Monday

Friday | Time: 9am 5pm**

Bringitinhouse are proud to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our innovative and established construction client in Glasgow. The established construction and home improvement specialist are a well-known national organisation in Scotland and have over 40 years of experience.

About the role

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to support the Finance Controller and directors in the financial management of the business.

Duties and responsibilities

Architecture for construction projects
Supporting payroll processing
Processing purchase invoices
Dealing with queries from suppliers and contractors and departments
Statement reconciliations
Bank Reconciliations
Keeping on top of invoicing and using Xero / QuickBooks to reconcile payments/invoices
Making sure cash flow reports are produced.
Work closely with operations department to allocate every single invoice to a project.
Financial support for a group of businesses.

Essential criteria

Accounts assistant experience.
Proven experience as an accounts assistant within a UK Business
Proven experience in construction is an advantage
Excellent Microsoft skills including excel and word.
Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage own workload, work to deadlines and work well under pressure.
A minimum of 2 years' experience using accounts software (XERO, QuickBooks)
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes.
Reliable, trustworthy and teamfocused.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make datadriven decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Living in a commutable distance of Glasgow
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
