We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator based in Winsford. The role is shift based and hours of work will rotate between 6-2 and 2-10. The successful applicant will report to the Warehouse team leader, and will be primarily based in the Manufacturing Warehouse.
Key responsibilities
What will this role involve?
- To assist in the daytoday operation of all Warehouse tasks.
- To check and handle incoming receipts, accurately locate materials within the Warehouse, and support ongoing stock control procedures.
- Pick materials for Production batches, process manufacturing returns, and support all manufacturing functions where necessary.
- Use Warehouse Handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain good levels of safety and GMP.
- Maintain Warehouse accuracy using inventory management systems and proactive approach to stock issues.
What we're looking for?
- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Fork Lift Truck experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Excellent numeracy.
- Good standard of computer literacy.
- Able to work to mínimal supervision and prioritise own workload.
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with other people.
- Excellent approach to Health and Safety.
