Working as part of an expanding team, to assist with the JRL Fleet of vehicles

  • MOT & service bookings.
  • Deal with safety recalls and escalating warranty repairs to manufacturers—e.g several combo with engine failures.
  • Group fuel reporting
- tie in fuel cards and site fuel consolidate reporting for speeding and idling time etc.

  • Assist with fuel card management.
  • Ensure all data is logged onto fleetcheck.
  • Ensure all vehicle maintenance schedules are up to date including MOT's, road tax.
  • Ensuring efficient management and improvement of fleet operational data.
  • Ensure fleet and business needs are met daily.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders within the organisation including monthly reports to finance in relation to Vehicle expenditure.
  • Ensure efficient booking of vehicles using our approved garages and other suppliers to ensure minimum downtime and operational impact.
  • Maintain fleet files.
  • Ensure all vehicle maintenance checks are up to date

Person Specification
Key Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • GCSE's A-C in Maths & English or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft office
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate where necessary
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Customer service
  • Negotiation skills and a commercial understanding of the trade
  • Ability to work to meet deadlines
