MAIN PURPOSE
To learn all aspects of the accounts department. Training is structured, so that you will learn each
function within the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Credit Controller in all aspects of the sales ledger. This will involve liaising with
- Work closely with the Purchase Ledger Supervisor to have a good understanding of all their
- Preparation of weekly statistics
- General ledger account analysis
- Development of additional finance reports to assist the development of the business
- Setting up new customer and supplier accounts on our ERP system
- Archiving of all data and paperwork
- Collating invoices for external and internal audits
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Any other duties to assist the smooth operation of the accounts department. As your training progresses and you gain a better understanding of the functions within the accounts department you will be given more responsibilities and be able to develop a more clearly defined role.
GENERAL
We have a small accounts team, and it is, therefore, essential that all team members are prepared to help each other in times of need.
