MAIN PURPOSE
To learn all aspects of the accounts department. Training is structured, so that you will learn each

function within the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Credit Controller in all aspects of the sales ledger. This will involve liaising with
internal and external customers to resolve issues

  • Work closely with the Purchase Ledger Supervisor to have a good understanding of all their
duties and responsibilities

  • Preparation of weekly statistics
  • General ledger account analysis
  • Development of additional finance reports to assist the development of the business
  • Setting up new customer and supplier accounts on our ERP system
  • Archiving of all data and paperwork
  • Collating invoices for external and internal audits
  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • Any other duties to assist the smooth operation of the accounts department. As your training progresses and you gain a better understanding of the functions within the accounts department you will be given more responsibilities and be able to develop a more clearly defined role.

GENERAL


We have a small accounts team, and it is, therefore, essential that all team members are prepared to help each other in times of need.

This does mean that a flexible attitude to the duties to be carried out is essential.
