Description

My client is a successful Global Manufacturer and Distributions company based near to Yardley and are currently looking for a Transport Planner to join their team on their afternoon shift.

As a Transport Planner working on the afternoon shift your main duties would be to amend and keep up to date the route plans for approximately 30 vehicles according to any plan or order changes that may come about.

You will be responsible for the routing for all vehicles, ensuring all collections and deliveries are on time. Processing collections and deliveries on an internal system ensuring you are compliant with all O Licence requirements and Legislation.

Effective daily Management of vehicle and driver resource, including holiday and absence cover as well as Monitoring the use of Sub contractors and agency workers where appropriate.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday either 12 Midday to 8pm or 1.30pm to 10pm

Salary £25k to £30k per annum
