As Senior Marketing Executive, you will support the Head of Marketing to achieve business and sales objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your existing Marketing skills in a fast-paced environment at Northern Ireland's largest family owned motor retail group.


The role is based at the company's Head Office in Dungannon with travel to other Donnelly Group locations and events across Northern Ireland as and when required.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Senior Marketing Executive will, as part of a team, be responsible for implementing all aspects of Marketing for the Donnelly Group.

Full time position with core hours of Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Flexibility regarding company events & marketing requirements is required.


About the role:


Key Responsibilities

  • Work on allocated brands as agreed with the Head of Marketing, actively plan and implement all marketing activity;

  • Support the Head of Marketing and supervise the broader team with tasks as and when required
  • Undertake a key role in the onboarding and continuous development of new team members to include system & process training, providing ongoing support
  • Mentor placement student within team providing continuous support and monitoring daily tasks
  • Spearhead, along with Head of Marketing, the process for redesign of Group website
  • Lead on team projects such as marketing campaigns or new initiatives, as directed by the Head of Marketing
  • Provide sign off approval for marketing activity prepared by members of the marketing team, ensuring all relevant brand and company standards are adhered to and consulting with the Head of Marketing as needed
  • Complete both internal & external Marketing Plans for allocated brands on a quarterly basis and communicate to relevant brand contact/team where appropriate
  • Attend meetings and updates with Sales Managers/Site Directors and manufacturers for allocated brands as and when required to discuss results and objectives going forward
  • Prepare for and contribute to weekly departmental marketing meeting to review campaigns, discuss plans and share ideas
  • Social media monitoring, management and advertising for Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram channels to include responding to and handling customer queries in a timely manner
  • Responsible for Group social media content scheduling
  • Liaise with third party agencies contracted by Donnelly Group and by manufacturers to ensure effective marketing support
  • Ensure all advertising on respective brands complies with brand standards from the manufacturer and an advertising standards perspective
  • Update and maintain Donnelly Group website content with offers, news stories and any other relevant content on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor on a daily basis and update if required the used vehicle stock on the Donnelly Group website and third party websites
  • Ownership of Group used car photography quality control to ensure consistency of quality by overseeing the quality control process
  • Work with Head of Marketing and external agencies on digital marketing opportunities
  • Provide Sales Managers/Site Directors for allocated brands with campaign results with the help/guidance of the Head of Marketing on a monthly basis to include Google Analytics data
  • Liaise with agency to maintain and improve SEO for all Donnelly Group websites and online sources
  • Carry out ad hoc marketing requirements and team cover as and when required and as directed by the Head of Marketing to include attending Donnelly Group events and showroom events as and when required
  • Carry out all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner
  • Undertake the weekly Trustpilot review process
  • Ensure all queries are managed and dealt with / completed in a timely manner
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors
  • As part of the marketing team, you may be required to work in accordance with the operational needs of the company. This includes flexibility during company events and other marketing requirements.
  • Travel to the various Donnelly Group locations as and when required.
