Robertson Bell is exclusively partnering with a leading Public Sector organisation who are looking to recruit a permanent Project Accountant.

Joining a high-performing and growing team, this role will focus developing and monitoring the budgeting and accountingfor some high-profile projects within Central London.


The main responsibilities of the Project Accountant include:

  • Lead on the production of monthly management information in relation to Capital and Revenue projects, creating various reports and financial statements in relation to these projects.
  • Responsible for producing all required regulatory returns in relation to ongoing projects and contracts.
  • Ownership of the budget monitoring and year end notes in relation to investment properties.
  • Provide financial advice to various budget holders in relation to the budget monitoring of projects.


This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and ambitious to join a leading organisation and take ownership of the reporting on some high-profile projects and investments.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis.

  • At least part qualified in a CCAB qualification or fully AAT qualified.
  • Able to demonstrate strong technical experience with both financial and management accounting.
  • Familiar with maintaining budgetary control.
  • An intermediate user of excel.
