Description

THE ROLE:

  • Managing the servicing and maintenance of our fleet of over 50 operational vehicles
  • Creating purchase orders for colleagues
  • Administration of staff leave and rotas for a team of approx. 10 staff
  • Providing support to our team with some administration of our broadcast maintenance processes

THE ESSENTIALS:

  • Knowledge of relevant transport legislation covering vehicles and drivers
  • Understanding of vehicle and fleet maintenance issues;
  • Strong welldeveloped administration skills
  • Able to maintain an effective filing system
  • Good knowledge of use of Excel
  • Good planning and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Able to take a collaborative and supportive approach in a team
  • Welldeveloped communications skills with the ability to negotiate with external suppliers
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Willing to work on own initiative prioritising and working to tight deadlines where necessary
  • Able to employ novel thinking to solve problems
