G03 £7,883 - £8,026 per annum

17.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday 9am - 12:30pm

Temporary for 12 months

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

St Chad's Church in Wales Voluntary Aided School wishes to appoint a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support pupils in the Nursery and Reception Class.

The role will include:
Helping pupils with their learning, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing.

Supervising group activities

Helping set up the classroom activities and provision

Working as part of a team, assisting with playtime and children's' personal needs

Assisting with Forest School Sessions

Excellent communication skills and a good sense of fun
- love working with children
- be consistent and empathetic
- have excellent team working skills
- show excellent use of initiative
- have relevant qualities gained from working in a variety of different situations
- support the child during playtimes and lunchtime.

Experience, I require:

Experience of working with children either in a school setting or another relevant setting
Experience of dealing with a variety of issues relating to supporting pupils
Commitment to supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
