Regardless of the size, scale, deadline and complexity of a project, the dedicated team always has and always will work directly alongside their clients to design, manufacture and deliver a solution that is optimised to perform according to individual needs.
THE ROLE
Now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and help grown their exhibitions arm, you will be responsible for developing new business, targeting, identifying and pursuing opportunities to achieve your sales targets.
Duties include:
- Arranging and attending client meetings
- Sourcing new leads and clients through proven business development methods
- Retaining existing clients building on sales achieved year on year
- Managing a portfolio of accounts as well as developing new clients
- Creating a new business plan and building your own pipeline
- Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients as well as forging relationships with new clients
- Recording and tracking sales, meetings and other data accurately using CRM software
- Producing sales reports at regular intervals
- Strengthening client relationships by meeting expectations all the time
- Communicating effectively with all departments
- Attending industry events or presentations within your sales area
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, events and opportunities for sales growth
