Technical Trainer
(Technician)
An exciting opportunity to join our Market Drayton Dairy, due to our continued success we are going through a period of major investment and are looking to recruit Technical Trainer (Technician) This role will be a part of Muller's UK Manufacturing Operations, producing a quality product and meeting specifications according to laid down procedures in the most efficient way.
Role & Responsibilities
Working directly with Engineering leads, Operators, Technical Trainers and the wider CI Team to identify Skill development using production loss and related engineering data.
This Trainer will be the conduit between Engineering expertise and operator up-skilling and help provide the necessary knowledge interventions for Operators to undertake more autonomous maintenance activities and ownership that in turn will help improve production efficiencies.
Areas of initial focus will be Asset Care (correct cleaning / lubrication / replacements) / Task Transfers / Machine Settings / Fault Finding.
It will be accepted that this trainer will be deployed to lead on 'New Machinery Learning' as installations happen and support the development of effective SOP's and front end training.
- Focussing on the key breakdown areas with the Engineering Leadership Team to identify appropriate training / upskilling solutions for Operators.
- Liaising with Engineering Leadership Team and Technical Trainers on Task Transfer opportunities.
- Carrying out / assisting with TNA and preparing appropriate learning material / opportunities.
- Monitoring and reporting on learner progress and evaluating (OTJ) learner skills to determine competency.
- Measuring effectiveness of learning interventions and improving where needed.

- Qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Good oral and written English language.
- Experience in managing multiple teams
