Part Time Finance Assistant20 Hours a Week
Up to £12,500 (£25,000 pro Rata)
We are currently seeking an experienced detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team.
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Processing, checking and following up on supplier invoices, respond to supplier queries
- Processing of purchase invoices onto sage line 50
- Reconciling accounts to supplier statements
- Process employee expenses
- Process credit card and petty cash transactions
- Support in the monthly Sales invoices
- Support in Direct Debit Management
- Support in Debt Chasing and Sales Ledger Queries
- Support with Monthly payroll
- Weekly reporting
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and data entry into the accounting system.
- Support the finance team in daytoday tasks, such as payroll processing and general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial procedures and policies.
- Help in the preparation of documentation for tax filing and other regulatory requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks related to finance as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or similar role would be advantageous.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
