We're on the lookout for a UX Designer whose passion mirrors theirs and who can help them construct groundbreaking games.
Your Role:
As a UX Designer, here's a snapshot of what you'll do:
- Harness the power of Unreal Engine 5 to develop a stellar UX design for an in-game map editor
- Produce and update all necessary UX documents user stories, game/UX logic, menu flows, and ingame layouts
- Lead an iterative prototyping process, always aiming for improvement based on received feedback
- Advocate for UX enhancements to maximise player engagement and retention
- Liaise effectively with a diverse team, ranging from Game Directors and Producers to Programmers and Testers
- Promote accessibility wherever possible within the project's framework
What You'll Bring:
- Solid experience with Unreal Engine 5, evidenced by at least one published title
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, aiding in making wellinformed design decisions
- Keen attention to detail, spotting and fixing potential UX issues
- A deepseated passion for video games and a firm grasp on industry practices
- Proficiency in English, capable of eloquently presenting your ideas
It's a Plus If:
- You have previous experience with FPS games
- You have familiarity with cognitive and social psychology, motivational theories
- You understand information architecture, ergonomics, and accessibility principles
- You possess visual design skills, producing highquality UI assets
- You have experience in UX/UI for AA/AAA videogames
- You're a fan of firstperson shooters
