About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

Reporting into the Grocery Supply Chain Manager you will be a part of the LEON growth story and you will help to develop the brand in the retail channel.

In this role you will be responsible for the supply chain management of the LEON Grocery chilled, frozen and ambient product range, within all of our retail customers.

You will also have the opportunity to establish new customer relationships and own ways of working.

Summary of Role:

We are in the office each week with some days working from home and ask for flexibility to adapt as needed, currently we are in the office 3 days a week
Weekend on call cover will be required on a rota basis

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage stock levels within a newly established consolidation model
Manage the supply chain via the best route to market for new customers, including consolidation and customer primary networks
Help to drive sales on our product range by maximising availability and manage wastage within agreed limits
Establish strong working relationships with our customers and suppliers and be the first point of contact for day to day supply issues and queries
Work closely with our customers and suppliers to understand demand and build forecasts
Deliver successful promotional and seasonal periods through planning and forecasting
Manage the day to day performance of our third party logistics providers
Manage the set up and launch of new products including product data and forecasting
Be involved with new customer and new supplier set up
Report on daily and weekly, customer, supplier and 3PL KPIs
Support the monthly/quarterly customer, supplier and 3PL review meetings

Skills & Qualifications

4+ years experience in FMCG supply chain roles
Flexible and happy to adapt whilst we implement new systems and processes
Strong attention to detail
Experience working with big 4 retailers to understand their requirements
Analytical with strong forecasting experience
Confident self starter
Food-lover
Highly organised and loves getting things done
Not afraid to challenge the status quo for a greater outcome
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Loves to get stuck-in, we have a start-up culture vibe so we all muck-in to help everyone out where we can as much as possible
