Job summary
Cabinet Office Communications is recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Digital Officer to play a central role in managing the department's digital media output.
Job description
The Senior Digital Officer will have a special focus on creating engaging content to highlight the work of the Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to the Cabinet Office's other ministers, senior officials and policy areas.
Person specification
- DSLR and mirrorless cameras as well as related equipment (mics, lighting, etc)
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator (or similar programmes)
They must also be adept at ensuring plans are fully integrated across diverse digital communications channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
They should be able to provide advice to senior colleagues about how best to clearly convey Cabinet Office messages across a range of digital channels, using the latest technology, platforms and trends.
They must also be able to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
They should also have an awareness of the content in which the Cabinet Office, and HM Government operates in, and be able to offer strategic digital advice on responding to current issues when required.

Interview location: 70 Whitehall, London (details will be sent to those being progressed to interview once selected).
