Description

Here at Ecoglass Ltd, we are looking for a Factory Operative to work in our Despatch department.

Key responsibilities will include;

Inspecting units for quality
Polishing out scratches and dealing with other defects
Loading units onto vehicles in a safe and secure way
Ensuring units are loaded into the correct customer racks
Keeping area tidy
Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
Occasionally delivering glass to customers, only as and when needed, to cover driver sickness or holiday.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies;

Glass handling experience desirable
A selfstarter by nature with a positive, 'can do' attitude
Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently
Remain calm under pressure
Physically demanding role
Confident in the handling of glass
Full clean driving licence

Working hours; 42.5 hours per week,

Monday - Friday 7am -4pm, including a 1/2 an hour unpaid lunch break

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£12.02 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
