An excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Professional working within an established Client Payroll Bureau based in Erdington, Birmingham. We are a forward thinking Payroll Bureau looking to strengthen our team in preparation for growth.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for day to day processing of multiple client payrolls of varying size and frequency
- Processing start to finish payroll including Auto Enrolment, adding new employees, leavers, payment changes and statutory payments
- Prepare and submit bacs payment files for timely payment
- Prepare and submit Pension submission to various pension providers
- Advise clients of PAYE, AEO and Pension liabilities
- Build relationship with clients including providing basic employment legislation information both written and verbal
- Dealing with HMRC and reconciling PAYE accounts and dealing with queries
- Organise workload to meet deadlines and provide an accurate and timely payroll service to clients
- Provide support and cover for the Payroll Manager
- Assisting with reviewing processes and looking for process improvements
- Creating non standard payroll reports using payroll software report writer
A minimum of 5 years payroll experience preferably within a payroll bureau:
- Strong time management and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong IT skills including an Advanced level of Excel and experience of Office 365 programs
- Great Communication skills both written and verbal
- Drive and interest to improve knowledge and skills
