Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time band 4 Service Area Officer to join our team. Our service runs 12 hrs 7 days a weeks. The post holder will be responsible for maximizing the effective and efficient utilization of clinics across the site.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working at a fast pace, can multi-task, adapt quickly to changing situations and remain calm and professionalin demanding situations.

To work across the New Queen Elizabeth 11 and Hertford County Hospital to ensure effective and timely patient flow and room utilisation.

Responsible for the appropriate placement of patients to clinical areas and for prompt escalation where there are any aspects of patient flow risks quality of care for patients.

The post holder will be responsible to the Aera Service Co-ordinator and will work within agreed processes.

Collate and submit information as requested regarding room capacity and the site position.

Work within the Trust policies and procedures.
