An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the Nursing and Quality Team to support the development and delivery of clinical training to specific staff groups, predominantly International Nurses and Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs).

The post holder will be expected to hold a caseload of international nurses and support with pastoral, educational, clinical practice issues and assist them in attaining their Mental Health Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and register with the NMC as Registered Nurses Mental Health within Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust, which can be complex and require intensive support at times.

The post holder will also have a key role in the initial support and development of new HCSWs, introducing them to the Trust, mental health, physical health and other topics relevant to their role which may be new to the staff members.

They will also be involved in the delivery of a weeklong training course for our HCSWs.

The post holder will be expected to manage their own time and work with the team to manage the demands of the role.
