Hays are recruiting for a Credit Risk Specialist to join a leading UK Bank for an initial 6 month role.

Please note this role may involve travel to an office outside of London.
The Role
You will be responsible for assisting senior credit risk officers, providing independent credit risk ratings and review of banking team assessments for Corporate and Project financing

Interact regularly with banking team, portfolio management, finance team, potentially attend risk committee/credit risk committee and investment committee as required.

Production of monthly MI

Experience needed:

5 years experience in credit risk management, ideally project finance and infrastructure deals;
Understanding of requirements for wholesale banks as prescribed by PRA;
Ability to complete research on new and expanding topics where required;
Awareness of IFRS 9 and ESG requirements.
