- Develop and implement training sessions that improve players' skills, teamwork and overall enjoyment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and progression.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and club expectations.
- Organise and oversee team practices, training matches, and potential tournaments.
- Monitor player attendance and engagement in training sessions and matches to report back to the Head Coach & Chairman if necessary.
- Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football with ages 5 - 8yrs.
- Strong coaching abilities with the capacity to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Confidence in yourself to set high standards whilst using strong communication to remain in control and manage behaviour according. (Vocal when required)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate individuals and foster teamwork within the group.
- Strong organisational skills to manage training sessions and training match preparations.
- A thorough understanding of football rules and techniques is essential.
