Description

CK Group is recruiting for a Production Planner on behalf of a global manufacturer of chemical products at their site in Shildon.

You will be responsible for interpreting demand/forecasts into an operational production plan and supporting the execution of the plan in order to achieve high levels of service, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Plan and issue production schedules and supporting systems to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
  • Identify and work with production to minimise constraints, with the support of the planning managers.
  • Maintain short and long term demands to maintain level workloads within production where possible.
  • Coordinate priorities between multiple departments.

To be considered for the position, you should ideally have the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous Production Planning experience.
  • Ability to identify and prioritise issues paying attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of computer literacy.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and use own initiative.
