Description
Teaching Assistant Apprentice


You will be:

  • Supporting the delivery of Physical Education in one primary school in Whitley Bay.
  • Acting as a general teaching assistant at times when no PE is timetabled.
  • Assisting teaching and learning in the classroom.
  • Supporting teachers in lesson delivery.
  • Carry out interventions in the classroom as directed by the class teacher.
This role is offered under the apprentice scheme. You will need to attend weekly training, which will lead to a level 3 teaching assistant qualification.

Entry requirements:
Minimum GCSE English and Maths grade C/4


Desirable qualities:

  • Specialism in PE
  • Specialism in dance
Full-time

Monday-Friday
