Teaching Personnel are looking for someone with a passion of helping others, to join this amazing school based in Witney, Oxfordshire.

The school supports students on-site in their residential facilities who have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The students live on site all year long, therefore it is crucial that you are respectful, caring and nurturing personality.


Please note:
you will NOT have to live on school site.

Class sizes are small, no more than 8 to a room, plus a class teacher and the teaching assistant.


Your role will be to support the students in the classrooms with lessons, including reading, creative writing, maths and science.

Outside of the classrooms, you will be providing guidance to the students to help them become positive members of the community.

This can be assisting socialising with members of the public, taking trips into town, learning how to read transport timetables and enjoying free time in their accommodation.

You will be need to be very patient, resilient and a positive role model to the students.

You will become not only a Teaching Assistant but also a responsible adult that the students will put their trust into building friendships with.

The school day runs 08:30 - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, Term time only.


Due to the location of this school and lack of transport links, you MUST be able to drive and have daily access to a vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
