Description

Working with fellow volunteers, for 2-20 hrs per month, delivering friendly and supportive hearing aid maintenance services and hearing loss information & advice in your local area.

Main tasks and responsibilities involve:
- meet and greet members of the public
- keep written records of help given
- check and clean hearing aids
- replace hearing aid tubing
- check hearing aid batteries and issue replacement batteries
- provide basic guidance on use and care of hearing aids
- provide general hearing loss information and advice, including signposting to other services

Training provided at our Eastbourne centre and locally. Travel expenses can be claimed.
