Cornwall Park Care Home is a 30 bedded Residential care home located in Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway.

We have an exciting opportunity to expand the team at Cornwall Park, we are looking to recruit a Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant with a contract of 82 hours per month with the opportunity of covering staff annual leave and sickness.

As a housekeeper you will follow infection and prevention control guidelines and provide a excellent standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the home.

Your duties will be cleaning the residential rooms, lounges and doing deep cleans.

As a laundry assistant your duties will be clothes/ linen washing & drying, ironing, sluice washes and ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is made.

You must be able to work independently and have great communication skills.

Working in a care home that has Dementia & Alzheimer's, you will be given mandatory training courses which is based online.

Rate of Pay - £10.50. Experience desirable but not essential, full training will be given.
