Purchase ledger clerk.

Working - 5 pm Monday to Friday

£13per hour

Temporary position with the potential to go to permanent

Office based in Fareham.

We have an exciting opportunity with CCN Verevo working in partnership with CityFibre on the rollout of 5G across the country.

There is a unique position available at CCN Fareham office as a Purchase ledger Clark based within the Finance department.

It is your responsibility in this role to receive information through WhatsApp. Making a request to the tarmac company to place an order. Issue a PO number back to the WhatsApp group to the person who requested the order.

Key Responsibilities

Process PO related invoices and credit notes ensuring accurate coding & approval for payment.
Process and analyse financial data related to Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring that all AP & VAT controls are performed.
Placing orders with tarmac
Checking vehicle trackers to ensure the trucks are going to the places they are supposed to be going.
To carry out other administrative functions

What type of person are we looking for?

An understanding of Microsoft packages and a basic understanding of IT skills are required.
It is essential that you have a basic understanding of finance.
It would be desirable if you had knowledge of construction materials
The ability to challenge others with confidence.
