About the role


Due to expansion within the business, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, the Transport Planner will be responsible for planning the fleet based in Wisbeach and King Lynn, alongside booking collections and deliveries.


You will be responsible for:

  • Completing planning and admin tasks to ensure all jobs are planned correctly and achievable
  • Ensuring full understanding of all contracts and providing excellent customer service and support
  • Building and maintaining very good relationships with external hauliers
  • Working closely with Customer Services Team and supporting them with resolving issues
  • Covering weekend work as per business requirements

About you


A good level of administration experience & solid IT skills, covering Microsoft packages is essential for this role, combined with the ability to develop understanding of internal & external systems.

Naturally there will be paperwork and transport administration to be completed, so we'll need you to lend a hand in ensuring this is correct and finalised.

We are looking for someone with a professional telephone manner, good geographical knowledge of the UK and who is capable of working work on their own initiative, with a driven approach to their work.

It's beneficial if you have a good understanding of driver's hours and regulations but don't worry, we can give you this training to help you succeed.
