With 40 years' experience in Freight and logistics we are expanding our team to recruit two additional Business Development Executives, one Senior, to join our team.
With our strong blue-chip client base and experience with freight transportation withinthe UK or Overseas this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing commercial team in a B2B role in the UK.This will be a full time role, working remotely, and will require a background in transport and logistics and freight forwarding.
The benefits include:
Salary: £35-£45,000 and
Senior £45,000-£65,000
Commission3% of customer GP
Holiday: 33 days
Working hours:
Full time
Remote working: Mobile / Laptop provided / Company Car -
EV Tesla
Pension: 4% contributory pension

Management:
No micro-management, teams meeting monthly
As a Transport Logistics Sales Executive you will:
- Have an excellent opportunity to expand our business in the UK, from our northern borders to the Midlands and South.
- Identify sales opportunities with clients that use freight transportation, develop relationships with new businesses and understand how we can support and work with new clients.
- Be able to generate new sales leads and achieve targets.
- Have account managers support you to look after your new clients.
- Utilise our CRM system which shows target clients progress
- Use your knowledge of road, air and freight transport to win new business.
The Ideal Freight Business Development Executive will: Either be from an establish freight, import & export sales background OR have account management freight / logistics experience and be looking to progress into the sales environment.
- Have prior experience in a Sales and/or Account Management
- Have previous experience in shipping, freight, transport, logistics OR import & export.
- Be a personable and professional individual.
- Be a strong communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Be selfmotivated, with the desire to grow, succeed and achieve targets.
- Full driving licence to attend visit clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for you to develop into a regional management role, supporting a team of Business development executives.
