Joining our family as a

Tool Hire Customer Assistant, you'll help customers find the tools they need and arrange a hiring contract. It could be anything from earth-movers to drills, but whatever equipment is required, safety will always be your priority. With your support and fantastic service, you'll have customers singing our praises.


How will we support you?
Right from the start of your career with us, you'll be supported in your development. You'll join our

Certificate in Tool Hire Programme, a 12 month Development Programme that will give you the tools to be successful in your role.

Over the length of your development programme, you'll explore:

  • Our safety culture within branch
  • How to service and maintain our tools
  • The products we hire and the services we provide


Our Development Programmes are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance.

We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us.

Along the way, our experienced team will provide you with plenty of support to ensure you get the best out of your Development Programme.

You will gain the qualification of a Level 2 Hire Controller.


What are we looking for?
We're looking for individuals who are keen to immerse themselves within our business and who show potential. We'll teach you the knowledge and skills you need to be great within this role but on top of that you will be;- A natural people person - great with customers and colleagues alike- Someone with the ability to learn new systems and skills quickly- Someone with basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in tools and equipment
