Year 6 Primary Teacher - Northampton

Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher - January Northampton, Northamptonshire - Permanent role on MPS/UPS with optional TLR (Fringe Scale) - 'Good' Ofsted School - Class size of 20
Are you a talented KS2 Teacher who is looking for a new role from January and would like to take on a small class of Year 6 students who will be taking their SAT's exams shortly?

Tradewind is working with a friendly Primary School located in Northampton who are looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher on a permanent basis Could you be the teacher they are looking for?


Year 6 Teacher -Northampton, Northamptonshire

Permanent basis on MPS/UPS pay scale (£29,344 to £44,919) plus optional TLR

Ofsted 'Good' School - 20 pupils in the class performing at age expected ability

two year 6 classes being split into 3 classes at 20 per group for greater depth teaching

About the School


Located in affluent Northampton, this well-run, community Primary School is looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher to join from January on a permanent basis.

The school has identified extra funding that will allow them to split the two current Year 6 classesinto 3 allowing for more targeted teaching to be made available, helping to raise attainment in up coming SAT's.

Senior leadership has decided that this will be the blueprint for all future years as they look to help students achieve as highly as possible.

To join us and be successful in this Teacher role we require:

  • QTS Holder in Primary Education
  • this role is not suitable for ECT's.
  • Ideally experienced working in a Key Stage 2 setting although previous Year 6 experience is not necessary.
  • Confident and keen to help support students through a stressful time in their early education.
  • Keen to be part of a successful team and wanting to develop a longterm career at the school.
