Due to an increase in new orders, we are now recruiting for someone to join the
JORVIK VAN CONVERSIONS team at our workshop based near Kirkbymoorside (North Yorkshire).

CAMPERVAN CONVERTER/FITTER

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone who can help us build amazing vans for amazing clients You don't need to have all the specific van conversion skills; we can teach you that part - but you must possess the following:

Joinery experience (with some form of joinery qualification) and have worked in a similar workshop environment
Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools
Relevant Health & Safety knowledge
Good communication skills
Positive 'can do' attitude with an excellent work ethic
High level of attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high quality craftmanship
Own transport to work (as we are in the beautiful countryside) and its essential you can reliably commute in the winter.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be following a set design to install our hand built furniture, fixtures and fittings into both our Signature model and bespoke campervan conversions.

Under the supervision of the Workshop Supervisor you will learn and undertake the following:

Strip out and clean
Installation of external windows and roof lights
Installation of amenities, water tank, gas tank, solar panels
1st fix electrics
Insulation and vapour barrier
Lining out and flooring
Installation of furniture and kitchen
Preparing the van ready for the Finishing Department

Great rates of pay to be discussed in relation to experience.

After an initial trial period, you will be on a full-time 40-hour contract with all the entitlements that come with it.
